About Amazon Product Image Optimizer
Prepare product photos that meet Amazon's listing requirements in one pass: square 2000Γ2000px canvas, pure white background padding, and detection of text overlays that violate main-image rules. Larger compliant images unlock zoom, and zoom measurably lifts conversion. Everything runs client-side, so unreleased product photos stay on your machine.
How to use the amazon product image optimizer
- Upload your raw product photo.
- The tool pads it to a 2000Γ2000px square on a white background.
- Run text/watermark detection to catch main-image violations.
- Download the Amazon-ready image and upload it to your listing.
Frequently asked questions
What are Amazon's main image requirements?
The main image must show the product on a pure white background (RGB 255,255,255), fill at least 85% of the frame, and contain no text, logos, watermarks or graphics. Images should be at least 1000px on the longest side β 2000px is recommended to enable zoom.
Why does my Amazon image need to be 2000Γ2000?
Amazon enables hover-zoom on images 1000px and larger, and zoom works best at around 2000px. Zoom lets shoppers inspect details, which Amazon itself says improves sales.
Will Amazon reject images with watermarks?
Yes β watermarks, logos and promotional text on the main image violate Amazon's style guide and can get the listing suppressed. Use the text-detection check before uploading.
Is my product photo uploaded to a server?
No. Padding, background work and detection all run in your browser, so pre-launch product images stay confidential.
